Fried Fish


Fried Fish



Ingredients:

1 kg Fish
4 tbsp Gram Flour (Besan)
1 Egg
3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp Carom (Ajwain)
1 tsp Red chillies
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Vinegar
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Chat Masalah
3 tsp Soya Sauce
Paste of 2-3 Green chilies
Oil for frying

Method:

1.Sprinkle1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp carom on fish and keep it for 2 hours to kill the smell of fish,then wash it properly and place in a stainer for 5 minutes to let the fish dry.
2.Take gram flour in a bowl.Mix it with egg,water,salt,garlic paste,caroms,red chillies,vinegar,soya sauce,chat masalah,and corriander powder to make a thick batter of gram flour.Keep it marrinated for 6-7 hours.
3.Heat oil and deep fry fish on medium flame.
4.Serve with sour radish.

Lahori chanay


Lahori Chanay





Ingredients:

Chick peas (safaid chanay)                           1 kg
Meetha soda                                                1 tsp
Roasted and gringed Cinnamon seeds           2 tbsp
Roasted and chopped Corriander seeds        2 tbsp
Whole spice powder (Garam masalah)          1 tbsp
Roasted red chilli powder                              1 1/2 tsp
Onion                                                           2 medium sized
Salt                                                              As per your tatse
Green chillies and fresh corriander                 For garnishing


Method:
1.Wash chick peas and soak it in water for whole night.
2.Boil chick peas.While boiling add meetha soda.
3.Separately take a pan,pour oil in it.Brown onions.Add all the grinded and roasted spices and make a masalah mixture.
4.Pour masalah into boiled chick peas and cook it for for 10 minutes.
5.Garnish it with cutted fresh corriander and green chillies.Serve Lahori chanay with naan.
