Aloo Methi 
(Potatoes with Fenugreek 
Leaves)
Ingredients:
1 
Kg Fenugreek leaves (Methi)
3 
Potatoes
2 
Onions (Chopped)
1/2 
tsp Cumin Seeds
5-6 
Tomatoes
2 
Green Chilies
1 
tsp Salt or as per your taste
1/2 
tbsp Red Chilies
1/4 
tsp turmeric powder
Oil
Method:
1.Wash Fenugreek leaves.Add 1/2 tsp salt,squeeze water from them 
and leave till they get dry.
2.Fry onions in a pan.Add cumin seeds,green chilies,salt,red 
chilies,turmeric powder and Fenugreek leaves.Cook for 7-8 minutes.
3.Add potatoes and one tomato.Cook for 5 minutes and then cover it 
on low flame.
4.One by one add tomatoes to it till potatoes get done and fully 
mixed with Fenugreek leaves.
5.Serve with Pickle.
Note: 
- Do not use water while cooking because it gives bitter taste to Fenugreek leaves.
- Before cooking you can also mix turmeric powder with Fenugreek leaves instead of mixing with salt.
