Chicken Karahi



A delicious chicken recipie



Ingredients:

Chicken                                 1/2 kg
Brown onion                          1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste                  1 tbsp
Salt                                        1 tsp
Chinese Salt                           1 tsp
Oil                                         1 cup
Keura water (essence)           1 tsp
Green cardamom powder      1/2 tsp
Black pepper (whole)            10
Chilli powder                         1 1/2 tsp
Cloves (Long)                       4
Lemon (sliced into four)         2
Ground mace(jaiful javitri)      1 1/2 tsp
Yogurt                                   1/2 cup
Yellow food colour                1 tsp
(If desired)

Method:

Heat oil in a pan.Add onions and fry till it turns light brown.Then stain brown onions from oil and spread them on a paper.
Fry chicken and ginger garlic paste in same oil.Then add salt,chinese salt,chilli powder,yogurt and fried brown onions.Cook it till it dries.
Add ground mace,green cardamom powder,sliced lemons and lastly add kewra and food colour.
Simmer it for 8-10 minutes.
Garnish it with garlic.
Serve with naan.
